dear friends,
something very silly occured yesterday.
let me first begin by explaining that sean was trying to sing a song to me but didn't know half the words, what it was called, or who it was by. after some clever investigation on my behalf we realized that it was a song by reo speedwagon entitled 'keep on loving you'. sean singing me that song in itself is silly, but the story gets better.
after we left the 4th of july barbeque at my uncle's house we decided that we needed to hear this song, and any other reo speedwagon song wew could find. i knew that my dad's roommate, steve, has a grand collection of cd's so i assumed that he would have it. since my dad is on vacation, if steve wasn't home we could just go in and copy it, no sweat. but steve was home, and this was when the silly thing happened.
really it's no big deal that i came over, cuz i know steve well enough. but sean and i stood at the door knocking for a few seconds, and i didn't hear any response, but i could see that the sox were on so i knew he was home. so we let ourselves in while i shouted "heyyy stevieeee!" - and that's when we saw it! steve was smoking weed and watching the sox. - enchanting, and rather silly. well he quickly put it out, hoping we hadn't noticed, and we didn't say anything about it. - so sean and i got the cd and then we headed out. laughing the moment we got into the car.
